MangaAIO is a reader for the manga and manhwa you already own. Add a folder, read page by page, and when you want a translation, it translates every piece of text on the page, in the speech bubbles and outside them, with the AI provider you choose and puts it back where it belongs.
Every line of text goes back where it was
Translating a comic isn't only about the words. Every piece of text on the page, inside a speech bubble or outside one, has to be found, prepared without being cut, translated and returned to exactly the right place, whatever direction the page reads in.

The whole page is read first
Long manhwa strips are scanned end to end, so every piece of text is found before anything is cut: speech bubbles, captions and text outside the bubbles.

Cuts never touch text
The strip is split into small pieces only where there is no text, so no line, in a bubble or outside one, is ever cut in half.

Text travels with its position
Each piece of text is read on your computer and sent to your AI provider with a marker for exactly where it belongs, so every reply lands back in its place.

Checked before it's finished
Each reply is checked. Anything missing or malformed is sent again until the page is complete.
How long it takes depends mostly on your AI provider. MangaAIO sends up to ten pieces at once and puts each reply in its place, whatever order they come back in. In our tests a 600-page volume took between 10 and 30 minutes; even a short chapter takes around a minute, because that's how long providers take to answer.

MangaAIO doesn't download or supply any content. It opens files you already have, from folders you choose.
For your own reading
Translations are for you to read in the app. Sharing translated copies of someone else's work can break copyright law, and MangaAIO isn't made for it.
Not an AI provider
AI translation uses your own provider account, and that provider bills you directly. MangaAIO includes no AI usage.
Not sending your library to us
Your files stay on your computer. Only what you choose to translate goes to your AI provider, and none of it comes to us.
