Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy sets out what our products and services may not be used for. It's part of our Terms of Service and of each product's licence agreement.

1. Where it applies

This policy applies to all our software products, our website, the customer portal, and our licence and update services.

2. Unlawful and harmful use

You may not use our software or services to:

  • do anything that is illegal where you or your users are;
  • create, store or share content that sexually exploits or endangers children;
  • create or spread malware, attack other systems, or gain access to systems without permission;
  • commit fraud, phishing or scams, or impersonate others;
  • harass or threaten people, or incite violence;
  • infringe other people's intellectual property or privacy rights.

3. Licences and our services

You may not:

  • share, sell or publish licence keys, or use a key on more devices than its licence agreement allows;
  • bypass, disable or interfere with licence checks, release signatures or integrity checks;
  • probe, scan, overload or attack our licence server, update service, website or customer portal;
  • give false details when you open an account or buy a licence, or use a payment method you aren't allowed to use.

4. Product rules

MFI AI Gateway

  • The AI providers you connect have their own terms and usage policies. They apply to the requests you send through your gateway, and you're responsible for following them.
  • If you give gateway keys to other people or applications, you're responsible for making sure their use of your gateway follows this policy.

AfterFormatAIO

  • Install only software you're allowed to use under its maker's licence.
  • Don't use AfterFormatAIO to get around a program's licensing, activation or payment.
  • Don't use it to put unreasonable load on makers' websites, for example by downloading the same programs over and over.

5. What we do about breaches

Our products run on your own devices and your work never reaches us, so we don't and can't monitor how you use them. If we learn of a breach of this policy, for example from licence misuse signals or a credible report, we may warn you, suspend your account, or revoke your licence keys. Where the law requires it, we report unlawful activity to the authorities.
