Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms cover your MAGCODE account, buying licences for our products, our website and our support. How you may install and use each product is set out in that product's licence agreement.

1. Who we are

MAGCODE LTD (“we”, “us”) makes and sells the software products listed on our website. We're a company registered in England and Wales with company number [company number] and registered office at [registered office address].

You can contact us at [support email] or through a support ticket in the customer portal.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you use our website, open a customer account, buy a licence for any of our products, or use our licence, update and support services. They work together with:

If these terms and a product's licence agreement say different things about that product, the licence agreement applies. By creating an account or buying a licence, you accept these terms.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over. If you buy for an organisation, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
  • One account covers all our products. The licences you buy appear in the customer portal.
  • Keep your email address up to date. We use it for your account and for messages about your purchases.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You're responsible for what's done through your account.

4. Prices and payment

  • Each product's price and licence period are shown on its product page and before you pay. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Any figure in another currency on our website is an estimate for information only; your bank or card provider converts the amount at its own rate.
  • Each purchase is a one-time payment for one licence of one product. There is no subscription, and we never charge you automatically.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't receive or store your full card details.
  • If we change our prices, the change doesn't affect licences you've already bought.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if we suspect fraud or the price shown was an obvious error. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we refund it in full.

5. Delivery

Licences are delivered digitally. Nothing is shipped. Once your payment is confirmed, your licence key is available in the customer portal.

How long a licence lasts and when its period starts are set out in that product's licence agreement.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Your right to cancel and how refunds work are explained in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

7. Other companies' services and software

Some of our products work with services or software that other companies provide:

  • MFI AI Gateway connects to AI providers using the API keys and accounts you add. It includes no AI model access, and we don't resell any.
  • AfterFormatAIO downloads programs from their makers' websites and installs them on your computer. We don't host, supply or resell those programs.

Those companies are independent of us. Their own terms and licences apply to your use of their services and software, and you're responsible for following them.

We aren't responsible for what another company decides about your account or its products, such as an AI provider's limits, charges or suspensions, or a program maker's prices and licence terms. These aren't faults in our software.

We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company or program we name. We name them only to describe compatibility.

8. Acceptable use

You must use our software and services in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Support

We provide support through support tickets in the customer portal and at [support email].

10. Our services

We work to keep our website, customer portal, licence server and update service available, but we can't promise they'll always be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Our software runs on your own computer or server. You're responsible for that device, its security and its backups.

11. Intellectual property

We or our licensors own our software, the website and their content. You receive only the rights set out in each product's licence agreement.

12. Suspension and closing your account

  • You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing it doesn't by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds follow the Refund Policy.
  • We may suspend or close your account, or revoke licence keys, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or a licence agreement, or if the law requires us to. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

13. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law.

If you're a consumer

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable. If defective digital content we supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to you, we'll either repair the damage or pay you compensation, unless the damage was caused by your failure to follow our instructions or to meet the published system requirements.

If you're a business customer

We're not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll publish the new version on this page with a new date, and tell you by email about significant changes. The terms in force when you bought a licence continue to apply to that licence.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

  • If you're a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them there. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
  • If you're a business customer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
