AfterFormatAIO Licence Agreement

Last updated 16 October 2026

This agreement sets out how you may install and use AfterFormatAIO, and how the programs it installs for you are licensed. You accept it when you install the software or enter a licence key.

1. This agreement

This agreement is between you and MAGCODE LTD (“we”, “us”). In it, the “Software” means AfterFormatAIO, including its program profiles, documentation and the updates we publish. A “licence key” is a key you buy from us to activate the Software. A “third-party program” is any program the Software downloads and installs for you.

The Software is licensed to you, not sold. Our Terms of Service also apply.

2. What you may do

While you have an active licence key, you may:

  • install and run the Software on [one computer at a time];
  • use it to download and install supported programs on that computer, for yourself or your organisation.

3. The licence period

  • Each licence key gives you [period] of use, starting [when the key is first activated].
  • When the period ends, [the Software stops downloading and installing programs]. Programs it has already installed keep working; they're licensed by their makers, not by us.
  • To keep using the Software, buy a new key and enter it. Each key is a separate one-time purchase. Keys don't renew automatically and there is no subscription.

4. Program profiles and the supported list

  • The Software installs only the programs on its supported list. Each has a profile that describes its maker's download page and its setup screens.
  • The current supported list is on the AfterFormatAIO product page. We add and update profiles through updates, and updates are covered by this agreement.
  • Makers can change their websites and installers at any time. When they do, a profile may stop working until we update it. Our Refund Policy explains what happens if we can't.

5. Third-party programs

  • Third-party programs are made by other companies and people, not by us. Each one is downloaded from its maker's website and supplied by its maker under the maker's own licence and terms.
  • When you ask the Software to install a program, it completes the program's setup on your instructions, including accepting the program's licence on its setup screens. You're bound by that licence just as if you'd clicked through the setup yourself. You can read each licence on its maker's website before you install.
  • The Software is designed to decline optional offers in the setups it supports, but we can't promise that every offer is recognised, especially soon after a maker changes its installer.
  • We make no promise about third-party programs, and we aren't responsible for them, their updates or how they behave once installed.

6. Screen recognition

To find buttons and setup options, the Software reads the browser and setup windows it's working in, on your computer. While it works, it clicks and types in those windows for you. It doesn't send screenshots or anything else from your screen to us.

7. Licence checks

The Software contacts our licence server to activate a key and to check it. [List exactly what each check sends, as in section 5 of the MFI AI Gateway Licence Agreement.] Our licence server also records the IP address and time of each check. Your licence key is never sent to us in plain text. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

8. What you may not do

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent, sublicense or publish the Software, its profiles or your licence keys;
  • use one key on more computers than section 2 allows;
  • remove, bypass, disable or interfere with licence checks or any other protection in the Software;
  • modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
  • use the Software to get around a third-party program's licensing, activation or payment;
  • use the Software in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Your computer

The Software changes your computer by installing programs on it. It's made for a freshly installed computer. Before using it on a computer you already use, back up anything important. You're responsible for your computer, its security and its backups.

10. Our promise about the Software

The Software will match its description on its product page in all material respects. If it doesn't, tell us and we'll try to fix it. If you're a consumer, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, such as repair or replacement and, in some cases, a price reduction or refund. See our Refund Policy.

If you're a business customer, to the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties about the Software.

11. Liability

Our liability is set out in section 13 of the Terms of Service.

12. Ending this agreement

  • You can stop using and uninstall the Software at any time. Programs it installed stay on your computer until you remove them.
  • We may revoke your licence keys if you seriously break section 8. If we do, you must stop using the Software.

13. Law

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, as described in section 15 of the Terms of Service.
